Large items (furniture, lamps, appliances without Freon, etc.) will be collected curbside, one item per week at NO ADDITIONAL COST. • If the 65-gallon recycling toter is full, place excess recycling into a 33-gallon clear/ transparent bag or recycle bin next to the toter. PREVIOUS TRASH & RECYCLE CONTAINERS All residents may keep and continue using their existing Millcreek Township issued recycle containers. In order to prevent additional waste from going to the landfill, the Township is encouraging residents to reuse and repurpose their old recycle bins. Creative ideas include using the bin for storage – kid’s toys, garage tools, pool toys, craft supplies, etc. In addition to storage, bins can be used as garden planters, holding units for “browns” in backyard composting efforts, and for bagging leaves. If a resident does not wish to keep their current bins, please place curbside on your scheduled trash/recycle collection day with a note for the hauler to collect. NEW ADVANCED DISPOSAL TOTERS ARE NOT MANDATORY! Residents are not required to receive the 95-gallon trash toter or 65-gallon recycle toter and may continue using current bins or bags for curbside trash and recycle collection. IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO RECEIVE THE TOTERS OR WOULD LIKE TO RETURN DELIVERED TOTERS, PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL ADVANCED DISPOSAL TO OPT-OUT! AT 1-844-415-5970 OR EMAIL [email protected] 14 Millcreek
