Millcreek Paramedic Service

Membership 2016-2017

During the course of our membership campaign, we are often asked,“ How does a membership benefit me and my family?”

Millcreek Paramedic Service is your 911 provider in Millcreek Township. Your membership helps us reinvest in our community to provide the most advanced pre-hospital medical care. Emergencies can happen in the blink of an eye. A motor vehicle accident, fall or preexisting health condition can turn into an emergency in a matter of seconds. A growing percentage of our emergency responses are for patients in their late 20’ s to mid 40’ s. Those in the community who are 50 + years old, support our membership campaign in large numbers, realizing the benefits of a Millcreek Paramedic Service membership.
Today’ s insurance plans vary in coverage based on age, health and employer. Most with high deductibles and co-payments do keep policies affordable for working families and those of fixed incomes.
As a member of Millcreek Paramedic Service, in the event of an emergency transport to the hospital, after insurance is billed and payment if received, the membership will take care of any remaining balance owed. If another service in Erie County transports a member of MPS for an emergency, please know that your membership covers you anywhere in Erie County.
Please accept our appreciation to those many loyal members who faithfully join our membership year after year. We offer the invitation to those who have yet to join to take advantage of a membership now to prepare for that emergency that just may happen today.
In the years before Millcreek Paramedic Service was founded, Millcreek Township’ s five volunteer fire departments; Belle Valley, Kearsarge, West Ridge, West Lake and Lake Shore, provided emergency medical treatment and transportation to the residents and visitors of Millcreek Township.
Recognizing the growing demand for EMS service in Millcreek Township, the five volunteer fire departments combined their resources in 1999 to form a paid service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to meet the emergency medical needs of our community.
Today, Millcreek Volunteer Fire Departments still maintain overall management of Millcreek Paramedic Service through a board of directors with each owner department providing one representative.
Millcreek Paramedic Service is proud to continue the tradition of providing life-saving care to the township while adhering to the volunteer spirit of service and dedication.
