The hands of time and fate move ever onwards and so journeys end and others begin. We are forced to follow time and fate and so we must move on and begin to heal, whether we leave my treasured dog and family member Mishka or Mr. Glassman whom impacted many. Their journeys may be done but we carry them with us in our hearts as precious memories; as we walk they will be by our side because time flows ever on.

Dear Mr. Glass and family,

Mr. Glass was one-of-a-kind. He always cared about everyone and he was funny. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be in band and I really appreciate him for that. I remembered doing solos for jazz band, he would always say how good I was at solos. He told me that there was no mistakes for solos and there wasn't He taught me a few tricks for doing solos. I still remembered it till this day. Mr. Glass was a good man and it's sad to see him gone. He told me that every solo that I do, he wished he would have done it with trumpet. He was amazing at his trumpet. I love how he would make fun of me and say Carla with a "K'. I would get mad but I knew it was a joke too! I think jazz band kids including myself would miss him the most because we would have more concerts and more time together. I miss how he would do a solo for a song called "Hip Hug Her" I just can't believe he's gone. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Mr. Glass was a nice and smart man, he really cared about his band students. If you didn't get what was going on or if you are confused from a band concept, he would've helped you. He was a wonderful director and he helped his students a lot. He loved us like family. He would help us be wonderful instrument players and helped us reach our goals. When I used to play oboe he would help me do the notes right and be a good oboe player. Even though he is not here with us I will still remember him because ever time I hear trumpets play it will remind me of him playing, his funny and wonderful tunes he plays. Mr. Glass is forever in our hearts.

Mr. Glass was the best teacher of band. When I have problems with something I asked him for some advice to help me. Mr. Glass liked to help the students, to care more about our life. He always talks of how people that are trouble makers have joined band and it helped to change their life by playing an instrument and feeling important. The band class is like my second family. In band with the instruments, you can transmit your emotions. Now one member of our family passed away and it's sad because that member was a good person that we miss, and we know we have to continue with our lives and remember him by what he did and how he did it. Rest in Peace Mr. Glass
