PITTSBURGH MUSIC FESTIVAL TO TAKE PLACE JULY 11 – 12
The inaugural Pittsburgh Music Festival will take place July 11 – 12 at Pittsburgh Brewing Company in Creighton, bringing together a wide range of local musicians for a celebration of music and community. Organized by longtime Pittsburgh music leaders, the event will feature multiple stages, diverse genres and a strong lineup of regional talent, while raising funds and awareness for Band Together Pittsburgh and Autism Pittsburgh.
Building on the legacy of the Pittsburgh Blues and Roots Festival, the new event will expand its reach and create a vibrant community-centered experience.
NEW FOOD & DRINK ESTABLISHMENTS IN THE STRIP DISTRICT
Three food and drink destinations— Juniper Grill, Atria ' s and 1930 Cigar Bar— have opened in Pittsburgh’ s Strip District, bringing fresh energy to the city’ s dining scene.
Led by local restaurateurs Pat and Nancy McDonnell, the 11,000-squarefoot space combines California-inspired cuisine, modern comfort food and a refined cigar lounge experience, marking a new chapter of elevated casual dining and neighborhood hospitality in one of the city’ s fastest-growing areas.
PUBLIC LAUNCH OF CARNEGIE MUSEUMS $ 500 MILLION CAMPAIGN
Carnegie Museums has publicly launched its $ 500 million“ ALL TOGETHER” campaign to support the Carnegie Museum of Art, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Kamin Science Center and The Andy Warhol Museum.
The campaign will fund new exhibits, educational programs and improved visitor experiences while revitalizing facilities and expanding access to collections. The initiative aims to strengthen the museums’ impact across the region for generations to come and has already raised $ 360 million to date. ■
