Neighbors gather on Fifth Avenue for 62nd street festival
It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood for McKeesport’ s 62nd annual Good Neighbor Day.
On June 17, city businesses, organizations, and public resources gathered on Fifth Avenue to celebrate summer with the community. Offering food, games, information, and more, Good Neighbor Day brings people of their homes and workplaces for an afternoon of fun.
“ Good Neighbor Day represents the start of summer for a lot of people here in McKeesport,” Mayor Tom Maglicco said.“ It’ s an opportunity to get outside with our neighbors and celebrate how vibrant downtown can be.”
