On August 17, Sunday services took place under the Blue-Top Pavilion for members of St. Paul AME, Christ Temple AME, Bethlehem Baptist, and Zion Baptist churches.
This combined worship event helped close out the summer season by bringing folks together for fellowship, food, and fun. The service included sermons from representatives of each church and a combined choir. The celebration continued with a cookout after the service.

Renzie Market Showcases Local Farmers, Vendors
Setting up in a Renziehausen Park behind McKeesport Fire Department’ s No. 2 Station, local vendors utilize the Renzie Market twice a month to sell their homegrown veggies and plants as well as handcrafted wares.
The McKeesport-based CCR Gardens serves as the Market centerpiece with fresh fruit, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, root vegetables, lettuce, herbs, honey, and more. Vendors offer everything from fresh baked goods to hand-made jewelry to 3-D printed wreaths. Many of the markets also feature food trucks and live entertainment. This year’ s market will close with a Fall Festival and Bonfire on October 2.
