Students and staff at Dorseyville Middle School participated in the school’ s annual Afternoon of Service in early February. Again this year, each DMS teacher picked a service project for an organization or nonprofit of their choice, and students volunteered at one of the sessions. This year’ s event highlighted a partnership between DMS and the A. W. Beattie Career Center. Staff at A. W. Beattie designed and cut new boards for Blue Run Trail, which is adjacent to Dorseyville Middle School, and students painted the boards for installation at the trailhead.
