For over a decade, Little House Learning Center has been providing parents with a safe, home-like, educational place to entrust their little ones each day when they go off to work. In anticipation of our 10th anniversary, we’ d like to share a few comments from members of our family and let you know why they’ re so important to us.

“ Little House creates a culture where children strive to learn and explore at a young age. The friendly atmosphere engages the entire family.”- Katie Goehring
We see ourselves as extensions of each of our families. We strive to provide ample opportunities for parents to be involved in our Little House family life. Activities such as parties, field trips, puppet shows, fundraisers, and special classroom activities are great relationship builders for us. Maintaining communication on a daily basis through conversation, pictures, written cards and our parent app allows us to foster enduring partnerships and relationships with all our parents. We strive to build a strong Little House family including our kids, our team and our parents!
“ Little House has been a loving and nurturing environment for our children. It is an asset for us, making it easier for my husband and me to leave for work each day. It is so much more than a day care.”- Lindsay Scaglione
Little House is so much more than a daycare— she’ s so right! Our teachers are amazing advocates for learning, kindness, manners, growth and simply letting kids be kids! From early infants laughing, giggling, babbling and experiencing the world for the first time, to our toddlers and preschoolers making friends, learning letters, numbers, sounds and reading, we provide more than just routine care. Our teachers have the opportunity to explore, engage and encourage the children on a daily basis, striving to make personal connections and developing a strong early learning foundation.
Our full-day kindergarten and afterschool program allow us to extend that care and love for many more years. Throughout the school
year we can focus on supporting their academic needs, and then during the summer let loose! Summer campers at LH go on hikes, go canoeing, play games, build relationships and just have FUN.
Our team has the privilege of helping kids grow to be responsible, kind and caring people from infancy to school age. For us that is so much more than day care.
“ Little House has been a part of our family for almost eight years. The entire staff is so caring, they create a loving, learning environment for our kids. It is a family here!”- Deanna Weaver
We are very fortunate to be celebrating nearly 10 years as part of the Mars community, growing with the community and building amazing relationships as we go. Personal connections with our families are so important to us and have allowed us to create a family environment that makes everyone feel welcome.
“ When I was first‘ shopping’ for day cares, I looked at several locations. None felt‘ right’ until I walked into Little House. It was the right fit from the start, and I’ ve never felt that anxiety when dropping off my children.”- Paula Purvis
Intuition can be an amazing parenting voice to be heeded. When something‘ just feels right,’ as well as when something doesn’ t, you simply know.
The Little House team is so very thankful to all the parents and families over the years who have chosen to take their journey with us. They have trusted us with their most precious gifts. We’ re fortunate that Little House was“ just right” for each of them and glad to be a part of their childhood journey … and many more journeys to come!
