The Holiday Harmonies Carolers are an a cappella , Dickens-era caroling group . It is the concept of Courtney Lynn Mead . A native of Pittsburgh , she moved away at the age of 5 with her parents . As a young adult she began to use her vocal talents to work in theme parks around the country , including Busch Gardens in Florida , Six Flags America , Coney Island Park and Kennywood .
Courtney eventually returned to Pittsburgh and was able to work as a singer and dancer with Latshaw Productions , located in Greensburg . One of her gigs for the company was as a member of The Little Dickens
