MUSIC SCHOLARSHIPS !
Keynotes is accepting applications for its music scholarship competition , which will be held May 13 at the Fine Arts Theatre of Mt . Lebanon High School . Cash awards totaling up to $ 12,000 will be available .
The requirements are that instrumentalists must be under 26 years of age by June 1 , 2023 , and vocalists must be under the age of 30 . The student must be a full-time music major at a college , university or music school or a graduating high school senior accepted for admission as a full-time music major .

OPERATION TROOP APPRECIATION
Operation Troop Appreciation ( OTA ) helps servicemembers deployed anywhere in the world , either in combat or on humanitarian missions as active duty , reservists or National Guard . The valuable help provides items needed by the troops while deployed , and the organization also assists veterans who are transitioning back into civilian life .
Operation Troop Appreciation has moved to its new headquarters at 2017 Pennsylvania Avenue , West Mifflin . This was originally the Knights of Columbus building and will now serve as the operations and events center for OTA .
Operation Troop Appreciation is an all-volunteer organization , and needs individuals willing to help with all phases of the operation on an ongoing basis .
