Wednesdays 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. September 20th – October 25th Where: Collier Park (will be held inside Community Center if inclement weather) Ages: 10-14 Cost: $40 per Member; $45 per Resident; $50 per Non-resident WINTER BASKETBALL LEAGUE This league is for boys and girls in grades Kindergarten- 6th. Grades K-2nd will play 4 on 4 on 8 foot hoops. All other grades play full court on 10 foot hoops. Players will be scheduled for a one hour practice and one game each week. Practices will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings Games will be held on Saturday mornings January 5th – February 23rd Where: Collier Community Center Ages: 5-14 Cost: $60 per Member; $75 per Resident; $85 per Non-resident Registration required by December 8th TYLER KENNEDY DEK HOCKEY CLINICS Learn skills and fundamentals of playing Dek hockey. Players are taught forehand and backhand passing, stick handling, shooting, defending and goal keeping. They will also learn team concepts. For players of all skill levels. Players must have a helmet, face guard and gloves. Sticks, balls and goalie equipment will be provided. COMING SOON: COLLIER DOG PARK! Collier has once again resurrected plans to build a dog park in the Township. The new location will be along the Panhandle Trail less than a quarter-mile from the Trailhead at Walkers Mill Road. The Township hopes to open the park by the summer of 2019. COLLIER PARK GROWING! Collier is in the process of beginning the second phase of its Comprehensive Collier Park plan by demolishing the remaining military buildings and creating more open space for future park development. The buildings will be demolished this fall and open green space will take their place. Collier is excited to expand the recreational value of its parks and will begin working to create new place spaces throughout Collier Park.
