carlynton - M Carlynton-Montour ontour school news Wrapped in Love For the third year, members of the National Honor and National Junior Honor Societies made blankets in the high school cafeteria. Students worked in pairs to make the blankets, a thick fleece that is tied along the edges. The blankets are made from kits coordinated by the Wrapped in Love Foundation. They will be distributed to cancer patients in area hospitals. Each kit is $17 and is purchased by the group making the blanket. The Wrapped in Love project is just one of the many community service activities supported by the honor societies. On May 21, members will collaborate with borough officials to determine community service activities within the communities. The organization is sponsored by gifted coordinator, Mrs. Cynthia Eddy. Small messages were attached to all the blankets to offer a word of concern and comfort. Elizabeth Quinn (right), a senior, carefully cut fabric for a blanket.
