What Comes Next
As demolition and abatement activities are completed, contractors will begin transitioning into more visible building improvements. Upcoming work will include parking lot and playground improvements, utility installation, structural modifications, mechanical and electrical upgrades, and continued preparation for the new addition.
Because this is a large, phased renovation, some areas of the school will be completed before others. Temporary walls, construction barriers and adjusted traffic patterns will be used to separate active construction zones from areas occupied by students and staff.
The progress made during the opening weeks of construction represents an important first step toward creating a safer, more efficient and more engaging school for current and future generations of Carlynton students.
