Armen ’ s Barrels is an Armenian restaurant and distillery , owned by Armen and Florena Geronian . Established in 2019 in the former Pancake Roller Rink location , the winery and distillery operations commenced in September 2021 , and the restaurant opened in October 2021 .
There are nightly specials at the restaurant , presented by Chef David Galiffa . Chef David is local to the Washington area and prides himself on using the freshest , locally sourced ingredients in all of his offerings . With this , he has created a delicious upscale menu . The team is young and energetic , which has contributed to excellent service and a relaxing , intimate atmosphere of fine dining .
Join Armen himself on a winery and distillery tour of the facility , which begins with a glass of bubbly and ends with the opportunity to bottle your own wine to take home . On the tour you will notice remnants of the former roller rink that many community members will recognize .
