Tuesday 7 / 4 Canonsburg 4th of July Parade at 10am Join your friends, family and neighbors at this annual Canonsburg tradition. Library staff will be walking in the parade so look for us along the parade route and wave hello!
Wednesday 7 / 12 Book Bites 12-1pm Join us as we discuss a book selected by the book club members. Stop by the main circulation desk to pick up your copy and make plans to join us. New members are welcome!
Wednesday 8 / 2 Teen Advisory Board 6-7pm Students in grades 7- 12 meet monthly to plan, organize and lead activities that will engage and benefit members of the community. Planned activities can be fun, educational, or service related, and they can be for anyone of any age. Little Picassos Wednesday mornings at 10:15am beginning 9 / 13 Children ages 3 – 4 years old along with their funloving adult can join Miss Barb at the library to do an art project with messy things like glitter, glue, water, paints, etc. Dress appropriately to get messy!
Wiggles and Giggles Thursday mornings at 11:15am beginning 9 / 14 This is a motion class for 2 – 5 year-olds. We will be moving and dancing for 35-40 minutes, so no sitting! Registration is required. Young Explorer Kits Thanks to the Grable Foundation’ s generous funding of the Young Library Explorers program, we now have a total of 69 kits for infants, toddlers, and elementary school-age( through fourth grade) children. Samples of our themes include: shapes, STEM, measurement and dinosaurs. These themed kits are filled with age-appropriate educational toys and other materials, and they are available to borrow. Stop by the Children’ s Circulation desk to borrow a kit.
