Adult Programming
FSPL Book Club 2nd Wednesday of each month, 1:00 p. m.
Our book club reads fiction and nonfiction selections, including New York Times bestsellers. April’ s selection is“ Remarkably Bright Creatures” by Shelby Van Pelt. May’ s nonfiction selection is“ Thunderstruck” by Erik Larson.
Bigfoot Crossing at FSPL April 26, from 1:00 to 3:00 p. m.
Listen to Sasquatch researcher and author Doug Waller from the Southeastern Ohio Society for Bigfoot Investigations. Waller will discuss various encounters people have had with the mysterious Bigfoot!

Toddlers and Preschoolers
Jr. Engineers Mondays, Ages 3-6. 10:15 – 10:45 a. m.
Children will explore STEAM( science, technology, engineering, art, and math) through stories and hands-on projects.
Little Picassos Tuesdays, Ages 3-6. 10:15 – 10:45 a. m.
Inspire your child’ s imagination and self-expression with handson art activities. Every week, there is a new make-and-take creation.
Wiggles & Giggles Wednesdays, Ages 2-5. 10:15 – 10:45 a. m.
This program focuses on movement while introducing new vocabulary. During each session, children develop their gross motor, listening, and social skills.
Toddler Tales Wednesdays, Ages 2-4. 11:15 – 11:45 a. m.
Exploring diverse themes, toddlers will engage in songs, stories, and activities in a fun, educational environment.
School Story / Play Thursdays, Ages 4-6. 1:00 – 1:30 p. m.
Your child will enjoy songs, stories, and games as they develop essential skills such as listening during stories, early literacy skills, and following directions.
After School
Lego Club Tuesdays, Ages 4-12. 4:30 – 5:45 p. m.
Calling all Master Builders! Show off your building skills at our Lego Club.
Let’ s Draw Jr. Wednesdays, Ages 4-12. 4:30 – 5:45 p. m.
Children will practice drawing with simple tutorials and videos. This program is for all skill levels, and materials will be provided.
Afterschool Games Thursdays, Ages 6 +. 4:30 – 5:45 p. m.
Join us at the library if you like board games or want to take a turn with our Nintendo Switch. All games are age-appropriate.
The Friday Afternoon Movie Fridays, Ages 6 +. 4:30 – 5:45 p. m.
Unwind after a long week with a fun, family-friendly movie.
Special Schedule
Read to a Therapy Dog
Do you have a reluctant reader? A child with a penchant for puppies? Come to the library for the opportunity to read to a therapy dog. This program is an excellent motivator for reluctant readers and a treat for those who love dogs. Our therapy dog looks forward to all the stories patrons will read. The dogs are ages 4-13. This program will meet every second and fourth Tuesday from 4:30 – 5:30 p. m. and every second Saturday from 12:00 – 1:00 p. m.
