Canon-McMillan School District Embraces Innovative Science Curriculum for Elementary Grades

The curriculum ' s alignment with Next Generation Science Standards ( NGSS ) and its comprehensive coverage of Pennsylvania ’ s new science standards ( STEELS ) were key factors in its selection , promising a more robust and standards-aligned science education . In other words , the old curriculum only covered 23 % of the STEELS standards while Amplify Science covers 91 %.
