ORDINANCES ADOPTED 2016

n In April, the Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance
No. 367. This ordinance amends the definition of “Garden
Apartments” in the Zoning Ordinance. Previously, the
maximum height of a garden apartment was three (3) stories.
The amendment now permits a maximum height of four (4)
stories.
n Ordinance No. 369 amends Chapter 5, Code Enforcement,
of the Township’s Code of Ordinances. The ordinance
specifically addresses property maintenance issues, including
remedies for violations as provided in the Neighborhood
Blight Reclamation & Revitalization Act of 2010.
n After a year of review and public comments, the
Board adopted revised regulations relative to oil and gas
development, drilling and related operations. Ordinance No.
368 provides specific standards for oil and gas development
within certain zoning districts. The ordinance regulates

in conjunction with the adoption of the Township’s
Comprehensive Plan in May. A public hearing on the
amendments will be held in the fall, with final approval

The Township’s annual curbside leaf collection program
will be offered starting October 24th. Residents are
reminded to rake or deposit all leaves at the curb or edge
of property where collection will take place by Township
