Public Works Gears Up for Winter Weather
As winter approaches, the Brentwood Borough Public Works Department is once again ready to take on whatever Mother Nature has in store. Whether it’ s a light dusting or one of Pittsburgh’ s classic snowstorms, our crew is prepared to work around the clock to keep Brentwood’ s roads clear and safe.
Led by Supervisor Pat Cunningham, the dedicated team— Sean Frey, Pat Fuhrer, Mark Consolmagno, Sean Britenbaugh, Mike Folino, Shawn Robinson, Nick Czerwien, and Matthew Veatch— is ready for action. Depending on the forecast, they’ ll be plowing, salting, or both, ensuring our streets stay passable no matter the conditions.
Our team always does its best to minimize disruptions, but remember— snow has to go somewhere! Your cooperation helps us keep Brentwood safe and accessible for everyone.

You may also spot our crew up in the bucket truck this season, hanging decorations and spreading holiday cheer. However, please note that streetlights are maintained by Duquesne Light, not the Borough. If you notice a light out, visit www. duquesnelight. com and select“ Outages and Safety” →“ Report an Outage” to submit a repair request.
From everyone at Brentwood Public Works, thank you for your continued support and partnership.
Here’ s to a safe, bright, and joyful holiday season!
While our crews are out keeping the Borough moving, we ask for your help to make their jobs a little easier.

Protect Your Packages from Porch Pirates
As holiday deliveries stack up, the Brentwood Borough Police Department reminds residents to stay alert for package thefts— a growing trend this time of year.
Tips to Keep Deliveries Safe:
• Track deliveries and bring them inside quickly.
• Ask a neighbor to pick up packages if you’ ll be away.
• Request deliveries to a side or back porch when possible.
• Use secure pickup lockers or store delivery options.
• Install a camera or motion light as a deterrent.
If you see suspicious activity or a theft in progress, call 911 immediately or use the non-emergency line at( 412) 884-2600.
“ Package thefts often spike between Thanksgiving and New Year’ s,” said Chief Adam Zeppuhar.“ A few quick precautions can go a long way toward keeping your deliveries safe.”
