Around Brentwood

A Community Wrapped in Holiday Spirit
The holiday season is a time of joy, warmth, and togetherness. Streets glow with twinkling lights, homes are filled with laughter, and traditions bring families and friends closer than ever. It’ s a season that invites us to pause from the rush of everyday life and cherish the magic all around us.
Here in our community, the holiday spirit shines not only in our homes, but also in the shared spaces that bring us together. Parks, trails, and community gathering spots take on a special charm this time of year— whether it’ s the sparkle of holiday decorations, the sound of carolers, or the sight of children playing in the snow. These moments remind us that the season isn’ t just about the celebrations, but also about the connections we build and the memories we create.

From the Desk of parks & recreation

As we look forward to a new year filled with possibility, may the joy of the holidays carry with you— through the sparkle of lights, the warmth of gatherings, and the beauty of winter days.
On behalf of the Parks and Recreation Department, I wish you and your family a festive holiday season filled with peace, happiness, and plenty of time to enjoy everything winter brings.
Our Parks and Recreation Department is honored to play a part in your holiday traditions.
From seasonal events to festive activities, our goal is to provide opportunities for joy and togetherness that reflect the best of this time of year. We are proud to help create places where neighbors can gather, friendships can grow, and families can celebrate the season in ways both big and small.

The holidays also give us a chance to reflect with gratitude. We are thankful for the many residents, volunteers, staff, and community partners who help make our programs and events possible. Your support allows us to keep building a welcoming and vibrant community. We’ re proud to celebrate that spirit not only during the holidays, but all year long. cKeesport rentwood
