Preparing McAnnulty to Educate the Next Generation of Highlanders
McAnnulty Elementary School has been successfully educating students for decades and now requires significant upgrades. Through discussion with teachers, the unanimous decision was made to move all students from McAnnulty to the high school during the 2026 – 2027 school year to ensure safe upgrades to the school while minimizing disruptions to students.

The incoming kindergarteners will be guided and encouraged by Scottie’ s Pals, a group of Baldwin High School students who provide enrichment experiences and mentoring. Two BHS students share how excited they are to support the new kindergarten class.
