A NOTE FROM BRENTWOOD BOROUGH CHIEF OF POLICE, ADAM ZEPPUHAR
Parking Reminders for a Safe and Enjoyable Summer
As we transition into the summer season, the Brentwood Borough Police Department would like to take a moment to address a common concern in our community: parking complaints. With the high demand for onstreet parking in many areas of our borough, it’ s essential that we remind residents and visitors alike of the importance of adhering to our parking ordinances.
In accordance with the borough code, vehicles parked on the street must have valid inspection and registration. Vehicles that do not meet these requirements or are inoperable are considered abandoned and can occupy limited parking spaces, taking them away from lawful vehicles.
In situations where a vehicle is found to be in violation of our parking code, our officers may issue a parking ticket along with a tow notice. This serves as a warning to the vehicle’ s owner that their vehicle may
be subject to impounding after 7 days, in addition to associated fines.
We encourage everyone to be mindful of our parking regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable summer for all. By working together, we can maintain a clean, respectful, and considerate community.
If you encounter an abandoned vehicle on your street, please notify us by:
• dialing 911
• visiting our website at brentwoodboropd. com
• utilizing the free Crime Watch App on your phone
You may remain anonymous for any of these reporting means. If you wish to speak to an officer in person, please advise the dispatch center when you call.
Let’ s work together to make our community a better place for everyone!
