the crops along with spending some time
with the chickens. The flock of 13 Dominique
chickens are a breed that would have been
found on the plantation during its regular

are featured during this self-guided tour.
Expert and amateur gardeners alike will find
inspiration and garden beauty. Good-quality
perennials will be on sale during tour hours at
the library along with free consultations from
Penn State Master Gardeners and a Pittsburgh
Rose Society Consulting Rosarian. All
proceeds from this event benefit Mt. Lebanon
Public Library. Tickets for the tour are $15
per person in advance (at the library and
online) or $20 on the day of the tour.
