The prestigious award was presented at a ceremony held on Saturday , February 3 , 2024 , in recognition of Mr . Zboyovsky ' s outstanding contributions to the community .
George Zboyovsky ' s dedication to public service and exemplary leadership qualities have earned him this well-deserved honor . Nominated by Brentwood Borough Councilman Harold Smith , who expressed , " It was an honor and privilege to nominate George for this award ," Zboyovsky ' s impact on the borough has been nothing short of transformative .

George ’ s interest in public service was sparked when he was elected to , and served , two terms on the City of Monessen Council . “ The Late Monessen Mayor James Sepesky and former Mayor JT DeLuca , and of course my mom , ( Emily ), fanned the spark that ignited my passion for local government and always provided me with encouragement ”, Zboyovsky stated .
