As we embark on a new year filled with promise and opportunity , it is with great pleasure that we share insights into the recently approved $ 19.1 million 2024 Operating Budget for Brentwood Borough . This budget represents our commitment to responsible fiscal management , community development , and the continued well-being of our residents . We are proud to announce that once again , the Borough ’ s Annual Operating Budget will not include any increases to the property taxes . This marks the eighth consecutive year without a tax increase , demonstrating our commitment to fiscal responsibility and our dedication to ensuring that our residents can continue to thrive without undue financial burden .
Investing in Infrastructure and Public Services One of the key priorities outlined in the 2024 budget is the continued investment in infrastructure and public services . Recognizing the importance of maintaining and enhancing our community ' s essential assets , significant allocations have been made towards road maintenance , sidewalk repairs , and improvements to public facilities . These include exciting projects such as the over $ 2 million in renovations to the Civic Center and plans for a Walking Trail

Supporting Public Safety and Emergency Services The safety and security of our residents remain paramount , and the 2024 budget reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting our police , fire , and emergency medical services . Funding has been allocated to enhance training programs , acquire necessary equipment , and bolster community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting public safety and emergency preparedness . By investing in these critical services , we strive to create a secure environment where residents feel protected and supported .
Promoting Economic Development , Community Engagement , and Recreation Brentwood Borough is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community where businesses can thrive and residents can prosper and play . To this end , the 2024 budget includes provisions for economic development initiatives , community events such as the ever popular Taking It To The Streets and continued focus on senior and youth
