Brentwood Borough School District implemented a new service called e-Funds for Schools to pay food service payments online. e-Funds for Schools is a secure electronic payment service that gives parents the opportunity to pay for food service payments without writing a check or giving their child cash. The service requires a simple, one-time registration through a website link located on the District webpage. Parents are able to make payments using their checking account, debit card, or credit card. Families who wish to use this convenient payment service pay a small fee of $ 2.65 per every $ 100 transaction for credit / debit cards and $ 1.00 for using a check payment. If there are multiple children in the family, only one transaction fee will be charged when adding money to the accounts in a single transaction. Once a payment is made on the child’ s account, a confirmation email will be sent to the address that was provided during the registration.
Skyward is a compatible payment processing vendor of e-Funds for Schools. Payments made in e-Funds for Schools are posted to students accounts in real time. Parent banking information is kept confidential and is encrypted for safe storage. Traditional lunch payments will still be accepted at each school.
