To improve traffic flow and enhance safety around the new Brentwood Elementary School, Borough Council approved new one-way traffic patterns following a professional traffic engineering review.
The approved changes include:
Implementation has been delayed while the Borough awaits final regulatory signs and completes coordination with PennDOT and its traffic engineering consultant. The new traffic pattern will be in place before the new Brentwood Elementary School opens in January 2027.
The changes are designed to reduce traffic conflicts and create a safer roadway network for motorists, pedestrians, and the surrounding neighborhood.
