Before school let out, Pre-K students joined another kindergarten class at McAnnulty Elementary School for spring picture bingo. This inclusive activity gave students a wonderful chance to play, learn, and practice important social and communication skills together.
SCOTTIE’ S PAW-CAST
R. A. Lutz Elementary School students have been busy creating Scottie’ s Paw-Cast using a podcast studio funded by a Voices Without Borders seed grant. Through project-based episodes, students built reading, speaking, listening, and conversational skills while hosting teacher interviews, exploring debate, and discussing the power of being bilingual. TWO HIGHLANDERS NAMED TO ALL-STATE SOFTBALL TEAM
Two Baldwin High School student athletes have been recognized at the state level for their athleticism. Ava Bonacci was named to the first team at second base, and Reese Temme was named to the first team in the outfield on the Pennsylvania High School Softball Coaches Association All-State Team. Congratulations to these athletes for their leadership, dedication, teamwork, and Fighting Highlander Spirit that led to this welldeserved honor.
