CITY BRIEFLY OF MCKEESPORT BRENTWOOD NEWS
Fall in Brentwood wouldn’ t be complete without one of the community’ s most anticipated seasonal traditions. On Sunday, October 19, families are invited to celebrate autumn at the 10th Annual Pumpkin Patch in the Park, presented by Brentwood Parks and Recreation in partnership with Bartsch Gardens.
From 12:00 to 2:00 PM, the Brentwood Park ball fields( 1, 2, and 3) will transform into a festive fall scene filled with fun activities, colorful decorations, and plenty of opportunities for families to make memories together. The event is designed with kids in mind— but there’ s something for everyone to enjoy.
Young attendees can get creative with pumpkin decorating, explore their imaginations at the coloring station, or take a ride through the park on a miniature train. Additional attractions include a petting zoo, pony rides, a balloon artist, face painting, and even“ ghosty pop” making— a playful seasonal treat-making activity. Children ages 12 and under will receive treat bags while supplies last.
For those looking to bring a bit of fall home with them, Bartsch Gardens will offer seasonal items for sale, including corn stalks, hay bales, flowers, and fall decorations. Light refreshments will also be available, rounding out a relaxing and festive afternoon in the park.
Now in its tenth year, Pumpkin Patch in the Park has become more than just an event— it’ s a Brentwood tradition that marks the season and brings the community together. Whether you’ re coming for the pumpkins, the pony rides, or the picture-perfect fall atmosphere, this is one afternoon you won’ t want to miss.
Save the date, and plan to join us for a crisp October day full of fall fun.
