WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!
As we prepare to open our doors for a new school year this August, I want to extend a supercharged welcome back! The start of a new school year is always filled with excitement, anticipation, and the promise of growth— both academically and personally.
We are thrilled to welcome our returning students and families, as well as those who are joining us for the first time. Our dedicated faculty, staff and administration have been working diligently to ensure our schools are ready to provide a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.
This year, we remain committed to nurturing a strong sense of community and fostering connections between our schools, families, and neighborhoods. Together, we will continue to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning in our students.

A Year to Remember: Elroy Elementary’ s Final Year Before the Big Move
As the first day of school approaches and the air turns crisp, there is an extra layer of excitement surrounding Elroy Elementary. This year holds special significance as it marks the final year in the current building before the big move to a brand-new facility. It is a time to reflect on memories, celebrate the school’ s achievements, and look forward to the opportunities that the new building will bring.
Reflecting on the Past and Embracing the Future
With the move to the new building on the horizon, Elroy staff are balancing the nostalgia of the old space with excitement for what lies ahead. The current building has served as a foundation for countless students and families, but the new Elementary School promises to offer an even more dynamic and modern learning environment.
Next year, the Elroy Elementary community come together with Moore Elementary, combining both schools into one new facility. This new school will provide a larger, more modern space designed to support the growing needs of the Brentwood Borough community. The transition marks a new chapter in the district’ s commitment to providing an excellent education for all students.
Celebrating Elroy’ s Legacy
Elroy Elementary has long been a beloved part of the community, known for its strong sense of camaraderie, spirited events, and memorable traditions. From annual Halloween Parades to themed spirit days, Elroy has created lasting memories for generations of students and families. The school

has always been a place where children have not only received an education but have also formed friendships and connections that will last a lifetime.
In this final year at the current building, Elroy will celebrate its legacy with various special events. A“ Goodbye to Elroy” event, spirit days, and an open house will allow current and past students, staff, and families to come together and reflect on their time at Elroy before the transition to the new Brentwood Elementary school.
A Fresh Start in the New Brentwood Elementary
The excitement surrounding the new building continues to grow. The new Brentwood Elementary will feature spacious, modern classrooms, advanced technology, and expanded facilities, including a new sports complex. These improvements will provide a state-of-the-art learning environment that enhances both academic and extracurricular experiences for students.
While the new building brings many exciting changes, the heart of both Elroy and Moore will remain the same. The same commitment to excellence in education, community involvement, and student success will continue in the new space. The spirit of both Elroy and Moore Elementary, which includes pride in the school, dedication to learning, and a strong sense of family, will be carried forward into the new chapter.
