Both Group and Private lessons are offered at Bethel Park High School indoor pool.
GROUP LESSONS
Ages 6mo. and up, 45 minute lessons, Saturdays for 6 total lessons

(6mo – 4 yr) 30 minute lesson
Swimmer MUST be able to submerge head completely under
water before registering for Beginner Class.
PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS:
30 minute lessons, with individual instruction tailored to your needs. Instructors
will be in the water while you learn at your own pace, whether it is learning basic
water skills or to advance skills to the next level.
Ages 5 – 18 years
Saturday 30 minutes morning & afternoon times available
Ages 18 and over
Saturday 30 minutes morning & afternoon times available
Register at Recreation Office located in the Bethel Park Community Center to schedule specific class time.
REGISTRATION INFO
Children 5-7 years old who have never had formal lesson MUST
be skill tested at pool on Jan. 25. They will be enrolled in class at
their ability level after skill test.
* Beginner level and Step 1 & Toddler Tadpoles MUST register at
BPHS pool at SKILL TESTING on Saturday, Jan. 25 from
10:00AM – 10:45am
STEPS 2,3,4,5 may mail-in or drop off registration starting
Dec. 10 at Bethel Park Community Center or register online at

STORY EXPLORERS – THEATER
FOR YOUTH WITH DISABILITIES
BEGINNER KARATE
Ages: 6 and over Fee: $40 (add $5 non-res)
Mon - 6 weeks
1/6 – 2/10 6:15–7:00 pm
Students receive instruction in Isshinryu
style of karate from 8th degree black belt.
Class includes warm-up, basics of the
style and simple/practical self-defense
techniques.

Class is designed for students with
Autism Spectrum Disorder and other
intellectual disabilities. Through creative
movement, dramatic play, group
collaboration, and sensory oriented
activities, students work to bring a new

HIIT IT!

Mon - 7 weeks
1/6 – 2/17 7–8 pm
HIIT class with short bursts of high-
intensity cardio and strength exercises
alternated with brief recovery periods.
Quick results, big workout with multiple
benefits in a short time from a variety
of movements that avoids repetition or
boredom!

Interactive & hands-on preschool science
class with an art twist. Each young
scientist is active and engaged in creating,
playing and learning different science
concepts. Supply fee of $15 due at first
class.
BELLY DANCING
PLANT BASED EATING FOR
BEGINNERS

Sarah Kaminski will lead this workshop
where you’ll learn the basic principles of
a plant-centered approach to eating, and
how it could work for you.

No dance experience necessary! Learn
basic dance steps from different styles.
Students learn a full dance in this high
energy, low-impact form of exercise.
Tones body from head to toe. *Material
fee of $25 due first night to cover cost of
hip scarf.
