SWIM LESSONS
Both Group and Private lessons are offered at Bethel Park High School indoor pool.
GROUP LESSONS Ages 6mo. and up
45 minute lessons, Saturdays for 5 total lessons

PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS
30 minute lessons, with individual
instruction tailored to your needs.
Instructors will be in the water while
you learn at your own pace, whether
it is learning basic water skills or to
advance skills to the next level.

Swimmer MUST be able to submerge head completely under
water before registering for Beginner Class.
Children 5-7 years old who have never had formal lesson
MUST be skill tested at pool on August 25. They will be
enrolled in class at their ability level after skill test.
* Beginner level and Step 1 & Toddler Tadpoles MUST register
at BPHS pool at SKILL TESTING on Saturday, August 25 from
10:30–11:15 a.m.
STEPS 2,3,4,5 may mail-in or drop off registration at
Bethel Park Community Center or register online at
www.bethelpark.net
Register at Recreation Office located in the Bethel Park Community Center to schedule specific class time.
ADDITIONAL AQUATIC PROGRAMS OFFERED
Pittsburgh Synchronized Swimming (ages 8-18yrs) no experience needed, Masters
Swimming (ages 18 and over), Lap Swimming (18 and over), Aquacise (21 and over)
COMMUNITY SWIM
Pool is open for swim/play.
Friday 7-9 p.m., Saturday & Sunday 2:30-4:30 p.m., 9/7–12/16
Not 9/14, 9/15, 9/29, 10/5, 10/6, 10/7, 10/12, 10/26, 11/23, 11/24, 11/25, 11/30, 12/1, 12/2
Can pay Daily fee ($5 resident individ / $10 resident family) or season pass for youth,
adult, or family.

Saturday, September 15, 8-10:30 p.m.
Millenium Park 5900 Baptist Rd.
Cost: FREE
Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh
volunteers will provide a guided tour of the sky with
a short astronomy program presentation followed
by guided viewing of sky through telescopes. Bring
binoculars if you have them along with lawn chair/
blanket, bug spray and your curiosity.
Halloween Laser Show with
Prismatic Magic
Friday, October 12, Show begins at 7 p.m.

Admission is FREE!
Lasermania is pure laser FUN set to positively-
themed pop/rock music. The night includes Monster
Mash with the Halloween Spooktacular, a delightful
sing-along featuring classic Halloween titles, plus a
host of crowd-pleasing, age appropriate pop music.
More silly than scary, laser caricatures of classic
Halloween personalities make for a FUN show!
Comedy Magic Show for all ages

family oriented magic that will amaze and keep the
whole family laughing! His shows are known for lots
of audience participation, laugh out loud fun and
