Dynamic duo ' s knowledge shines
ONE of the highlights of the Australian Almond Conference was the Q and A session with Patrick Brown and David Doll , where attendees had the opportunity to ask questions of the two experts . Both highly-admired almond industry figures presented individually but came together on the final day to be asked questions by the audience , which was very well received by attendees . They both added their expert comments to the questions put to them by ABA ’ s Josh Fielke and often asked questions of each other . Topics put to the pair included getting potassium to trees , their thoughts on growing large canopies and proximity of plantings , and they also spoke about heavy rainfall conditions currently being experienced by Riverina growers .
