THE Almond Board of Australia ( ABA ) exhibited at the Australian Nut Industry Council Conference held in Melbourne at the Crowne Plaza on 22 March 2022 . Market Development Manager Joseph Ebbage and Marketing Officer Lou Martin provided a great overview of the almond industry and specific marketing activities planned for 2022 . Sustainability Manager Megan Coles also explained her sustainability journey and how the almond industry is approaching this topic . Other speakers discussed the effects of COVID-19 on consumer behaviour , the rise of e-commerce , new health and nutrition research and the influence of sustainability more broadly . It was great to be able to attend one of the first industry face-to-face conferences for almost two years and we look forward to attending more events in 2022 .
