Greetings from the 2025-2026 Imprint Reporters!

Keirra Birch
Happenings Reporter Delta State University Cleveland, MS nsna @ nsna. org, Attn: Happenings
Hello everyone,
My name is Keirra Janai Birch and I’ m honored to serve as the Imprint Happenings Reporter, the official publication for NSNA. I’ m currently a BSN student at Delta State University, where I serve as class president and 2nd vice president of our local NSNA chapter. With a background as a Licensed Practical Nurse, I’ m passionate about bridging leadership, education, and storytelling within the nursing profession.
As Imprint Reporter, my goal is to highlight the incredible work student nurses are doing across the country whether it’ s innovative campus events, impactful volunteer projects, or inspiring personal journeys. Nursing school is more than textbooks and clinicals; it’ s a movement of future healthcare leaders in action.
If your school has a story to tell, I want to help share it with the NSNA community. Let’ s use our voices to uplift one another, spark ideas, and build pride in who we’ re becoming as nurses.
I look forward to connecting with you and shining a light on what makes our nursing journey powerful.
Sherah Ndjongo
Up Close Reporter Columbia University New York, NY nsna @ nsna. org, Attn: Up Close
Hi NSNA members! I’ m a Masters Direct Entry candidate at Columbia University School of Nursing, where I also serve as a Student Ambassador and Marketing Chair for Asian Nursing Students at Columbia. With a professional background that uniquely blends journalism and healthcare, I bring a dynamic perspective to the Imprint editorial team as this year’ s Up Close Reporter.
Prior to nursing, I cultivated a robust media career, contributing to iHeartMedia, the USA Today Network, and Mammoth Media, where I sharpened my skills in storytelling, interviewing, and digital strategy. My journalistic roots are now enhanced by clinical experience across critical care, pediatrics, psychiatry, and women’ s health in institutions like NewYork-Presbyterian and Jordan University Hospital.
I am also passionate about global health, having completed a six-week clinical rotation in Amman, Jordan. A California native with international study experience in Tokyo, Japan, I am currently preparing to pursue a DNP at the University of Virginia starting August 2025 for the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Specialty. I am thrilled to merge my dual passions for nursing and storytelling through Imprint, spotlighting the inspiring journeys of student nurse leaders across the country.
