Meet the 2025-2026 NSNA Resolutions Committee!

Vicky Vo, Chair
University of Pennsylvania Philadelphia, PA
Hello, NSNA Members! It’ s an incredible honor to serve as your Resolutions Committee Chair for the 2025 – 2026 term. I’ m a rising fourth-year student at the University of Pennsylvania pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Public Health. Beyond NSNA, I serve as the Legislative Coordinator for the Student Nurses’ Association of Pennsylvania( SNAP) and President of Student Nurses at Penn.
For the past three years, I’ ve had the privilege of growing within NSNA’ s community— learning, advocating, and leading alongside some of the most passionate future nurses in the country. Attending past NSNA Conventions opened my eyes to the power of student-driven resolutions to shape policy, elevate unheard voices, and drive systemic change. These experiences deepened my belief that nursing leadership belongs in every space where decisions are made— from bedside care to statehouses to Capitol Hill.
As Resolutions Committee Chair, I am committed to empowering you to raise the issues that matter most to you all. My goal is to make the resolution-writing process more accessible, collaborative, and action-oriented. Together, we will support each other in transforming our lived experiences, concerns, and passions into formal advocacy that reaches the NSNA House of Delegates and our broader world.
Throughout this term, I hope to mentor and uplift fellow student leaders across the nation who are eager to make their voices heard. I’ m especially passionate about supporting underrepresented students in using resolutions as a tool to advance justice in healthcare and society. Through education, outreach, and meaningful collaboration, I want to help all nursing students see themselves as policy shapers, not just policy followers.
Your membership in NSNA is a testament to your dedication to our profession and the communities we serve. Together, we are changemakers. I can’ t wait to stand with you as we write, debate, and adopt resolutions that spark dialogue, influence legislation, and leave a lasting mark on the future of nursing.
Let’ s build something powerful together. I look forward to meeting many of you at the 2026 NSNA Annual Convention and supporting you every step of the way in your resolution journey.
