ily impacted by the recent California wildfires. 100 % of the fundraiser proceeds will go directly to the nursing program at Glendale Community College to help them recover from their losses. They called it“ sweet treats for a great cause”- what an inspiring initiative!
SPC SNA annually supports the“ Keep Pinellas Beautiful” initiative by hosting four cleanup events per year. While most cleanups focus on maintaining a safe and welcoming campus environment, last year’ s cleanup focused on ensuring clear and safe roadways for the local community following a hurricane. In 2024, they picked up roughly 75 pounds of trash and recyclables, while in 2025 their efforts mounted to over 90 pounds in their effort to keep their community clean.
That is not all! SPC SNA also provides hurricane relief for nursing students in Florida as it partnered with its campus to provide FREE scrubs, nursing books, and other essentials for students who lost items in the storms. SPC SNA takes great pride in leveraging its local chapter to make a positive impact within its local community and in supporting fellow nursing students across the country. Kudos for the dedication to service and SPC SNA leadership for driving these initiatives!
