Hello there ! I am thrilled to be a member of the NSNA Nominating and Elections Committee , representing the Western election area . Thank you for your support during the 2024 Annual Convention . I look forward to meeting more of you throughout this next year and at the conferences .
I currently attend Southern Utah University ’ s RN-BSN program and will graduate next December . I have a particular passion for women ’ s health and labor and delivery , areas where I believe I can make a significant impact . My goal is to work within these fields to support and empower women through some of the most transformative times in their lives . Looking ahead , I aspire to further my education and one day become a practitioner in women ’ s health .
In addition to my immediate career goals , I have a longterm dream of traveling around the world to provide education on the importance of women ’ s health to underserved populations . I am deeply motivated by the potential to make a global impact by improving access to essential health education and services in communities that lack adequate resources . By sharing knowledge and fostering better healthcare practices , I hope to contribute to reducing health disparities and empowering women everywhere .
One of my key objectives this year is to increase awareness and participation in the election process . I believe that by implementing more effective outreach strategies and providing clearer guidance for potential candidates , we can inspire a broader range of students to get involved and eventually run during next year ’ s annual convention . This in turn , will strengthen our association by ensuring that leadership positions are filled with individuals who are not only qualified but also passionate about representing the interests of nursing students across the country .
