Describe this first semester of nursing school for you .
LGR : My first semester went smoothly . Meeting new people and forming study groups within my nursing program have been the highlight of this past term . This past semester has given me a good gauge of how I can improve my schoollife balance .
KS : The impact of forming connections with supportive individuals took me by surprise .
Successfully completing my first semester with all As was one of my goals when I started this program . I owe much credit to the new friends who motivated me to do well in my exams and assignments . My favorite part of the semester was meeting and collaborating with new people while delving into the fundamentals of nursing .
RK : My first semester of nursing school showed me that embarking on this professional journey is the real deal . Time management is the key to success . One must have a strong work ethic to stay ahead . The most enjoyable part of my semester was taking breaks from schoolwork with fellow students , often grabbing lunch at a local pizzeria .
BD : Finishing the first semester of nursing school has reinforced my commitment to pursuing a career in nursing . I have also come to realize the significance of everything that lies ahead . What do you wish you knew before you started nursing school ?
LGR : Before starting nursing school , I wish I had understood the time commitment required to manage the course load effectively . I now recognize the importance of studying well in advance of exams ; that is crucial to academic success .
KS : Before starting this program , I often heard students ’ apprehensions about the difficulty of nursing school . While the program demands sacrifice and hard work , the reassuring aspect is being surrounded by supportive professors and peers who are genuinely invested in helping you succeed .
RK : I wish I had known the true extent of the time and dedication required to become a nurse . Embracing a nursing career as a lifestyle is imperative for both personal growth and professional success in this field .
BD : Before entering the nursing program , I wish I had a clearer understanding of the time required to comprehend and apply the information presented . This knowledge would have allowed me to adapt more efficiently to course material .

What nursing specialty are you considering in the future ? Why ?
LGR : I am considering specializing in critical care and working in an Intensive Care Unit ( ICU ). I hope to pursue a doctorate in nursing practice someday and to become a nurse anesthetist .
KS : I intend to specialize in pediatric nursing . I am great at
