The South Region
At the beginning of June a two-day training session, Field Sales
Skills, was also held in Shymkent with the participation of all Area
Managers and Sales Representatives of the new South Region.
Bakhtiyar Aliev will take over sales in the South Region, which
includes Almaty (Korday, Zharkent), Shymkent, Taraz,
Kyzylorda and Taldykorgan.

On the first day there was a mini-football tournament that brought
together colleagues from various regions of Kazahstan. After the
exciting tournament the teams organized the Mannequin Challenge
flashmob.
On 15 June another training session, Effective Interviews, was
held for area managers where they studied various methods
and techniques of assessing candidates during staff recruitment
process. During the training session, participants learned about
such methods as projective questions, the CASE and the
CARE interview techniques, about the importance of active
listening and enemies of a recruiter.

the South Region: “May 2017 brought a new
challenge for me. I used to be responsible for only
two cities, but now my area of responsibility
includes a huge region. Having become
better acquainted with the area managers and
sales representatives, I realized that we need to organize
training sessions, especially for employees who have been
with the company for less than a year. After a discussion
with management, a decision was made to bring all the sales
representatives of the region to one city in order to discuss the nine
steps of a visit to a retail outlet. We are very grateful to the colleagues
for their high level of professionalism and the incredible volume of
knowledge we acquired over the two training days.
I must confess that we are not succeeding in everything yet, and
not everything is going the way we want it to. However, I know
that I am not alone! My manager and my colleagues from various
departments regularly ask how things are going in the region
and they are always there to help. To me, new region means new
opportunities!”
On the first evening a tournament was also organized, and four
teams from various cities of the South Region demonstrated
through a football game that they are organized and coordinated
in their actions.
