NORTHWESTERN BAND OF THE SHOSHONE NATION
The Larry H . & Gail Miller Family Foundation is honored to support the construction of the Wuda Ogwa Cultural Interpretive Center in Idaho near the Bear River Massacre site . The center will educate and enlighten visitors about the history of the Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation as it honors those who have passed and teaches about Shoshone culture . The $ 394,500 donation will help construct a new building with educational exhibits , an outdoor amphitheater and walking trails .
TRINITY AFRICAN METHODIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH
The Larry H . & Gail Miller Family Foundation joined the Historic Trinity African Methodist Episcopal Church ( AME ) community to celebrate the groundbreaking of the restoration of its Bourdeaux Fellowship Hall in Salt Lake City . Formed in the late 1880s , the Trinity AME congregation is part of Utah ’ s Black history and pioneer heritage .
The Miller family is honored to support and celebrate the Historic Trinity AME community along with our friends at the George S . & Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation , Huntsman Family Foundation , Zions Bank , the Stirling Foundation , the Gardner Foundation and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Foundation .
