CENTER FOR ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY AND BELONGING
In 2022 , The Center for Economic Opportunity and Belonging launched its New Americans task force , a statewide effort to support the inclusion of New Americans calling Utah home .
With a donation of $ 150,000 from the Miller Family Foundation , the Task Force worked with private and public partners to aid in small business development and foreign degree and certificate opportunities , creating upward mobility in Utah ’ s robust job market . These efforts maximized economic opportunities , social inclusion and the civic potential of New Americans in the Beehive State .
