TRUSTEE-DIRECTED INITIATIVES
TENNIS AND TUTORING
On behalf of Steve and Jen Miller , the Larry H . & Gail Miller Family Foundation supported Tennis and Tutoring , which is dedicated to supporting Utah students at Title I schools . Many students at Title I schools face socioeconomic , academic and social challenges . The Tennis and Tutoring program offers private tutoring and tennis lessons to help students gain confidence in their academic pursuits and improve their mental and physical health . Each year , Tennis and Tutoring supports hundreds of students at seven locations across Utah .
SKI UTAH DISCOVER WINTER PROGRAM
Ski Utah created the Discover Winter program to make skiing and snowboarding more inclusive . Directed by Zane Miller , the Miller Family Foundation donated to the program to help bring more people of color to the slopes .

Upwards of 150 participants from Future Scholars of Africa , Weber State University , Morgan Stanley , Outdoor Afro and other organizations visited a Utah ski resort four times for ski or snowboard lessons .
