Meet Author Daniel R Simmons

Author, Daniel R Simmons from Detroit MI

Daniel Simmons is 22 years old and from Detroit,
Michigan. He is founder of Take The Lead
Motivation, a nonprofit organization guiding people
through their struggles and on the road to success.
As a minister, he worships at New Liberty Apostolic
Faith Church and is currently pursuing a BA in
Computer Information system with minor in
business management at Marygrove College of
Detroit. Simmons the author of the book, One
Million Hours of Isolation: Striving towards
Success.
Through his writings, Simmons says he hopes to
inspire others by putting aside his feelings of
frustrations and pain to encourage others to always
move forward. “My words are passionate and often
time come during my darkest moments. It is during
these moments, I have to encourage myself the most;
thus my writing is for me, as well.
As an upcoming motivational speaker and
inspirational writer, Simmons believes that he is not
meant to be like everyone else. He was not born to
fit in, but to stand out. “It is your uniqueness that
defines and draws others to you- not your attempt
and ability to be like everyone else.”
He gives back at the Detroit Rescue Mission located
in Highland Park and at local schools and his
Church. Through Take The Lead Motivation, he has
projects that help with feeding and clothing the
homeless.
