Greetings!
Thank you for supporting Impact Detroit Magazine.
The common themes of our Spring 2015 issue are
Destiny, Purpose, Passion and Belief. It is packed
with inspiring stories from cover to cover. Read
about four (4) nonprofits in Detroit that are giving
back big. My personal experience with one of the
nonprofits truly moved me to tears as I SLEPT OUT
with other executives in southeast Michigan to help
Covenant House increase awareness and the grave
issue of homelessness among teens. This experience
is something I will cherish for the rest of my life!
Our cover is none other than the funny man himself
Cedric the Entertainer and look who covers the
back, it’s JMoss with a brand new album and brand
Grown Folks Gospel. It is downloadable on digital
music platforms everywhere.
As you flip through the pages of IDM, you’ll
discover Cedric’s story boosting your confidence to
continue to walk in your purpose and believe even
more in your dreams, regardless if you come from a
small town nobody has heard of in Missouri, lol. As
the upcoming album name of Alternative/Pop singer
songwriter Levi Stephens implies, ONLY WHAT
YOU DREAM, return to your first love, your passion
and believe because your dreams can in fact come
true.
This issue introduces two (2) new Gospel artists,
Clareta and Jennifer Mekel. Jennifer has a beautiful
