A Letter From
Throughout its 55 years, Lyford
Cay International School (LCIS) has
been dedicated to the education of
its students and stands today as a
reputable school. Behind every great
school is a community of individuals
with similar goals and who are not
only willing, but happy to give of
their time, expertise and resources
to reach these goals. LCIS has such
a community.
For
this
reason,
LCIS
has
accomplished so much. Today,
we continue with this tradition of
community, affording our students
rich opportunities to develop as
global citizens who are poised to live
successful, healthy lives and to make
a difference in the lives of others and
that of our planet.
In the spirit of philanthropy that
defines us and forms the backbone
of our success, I would like to
recognize one of our leaders,
Michael D. Dingman, who recently
passed. Like our founder, EP Taylor,
Mr Dingman was a risk taker, a man
of vision, a successful entrepreneur,
and an individual with tremendous
heart who was dedicated to helping
others where it counts the most: their
education. He and his wife, Mrs Betsy
Dingman, are largely responsible for
helping Lyford Cay School to grow
and to become a leader in education.
We will be forever grateful to the
Dingmans for their support and
guidance.
that expose a bright future—I wish
to highlight the continued need to
contribute to our Annual Fund. Your
donations allow us to pursue our
goals and underscore the impact
that our school has on our students
and on the world.
Thank you for your 55 years of
continued support.
The legacy of all those who have given
to LCIS lives on in the generations
of young people whose skills and
knowledge we have nurtured and it
lives on in our continued success in
educating children. This success is
consistently evaluated and evidenced
by results in the rigorous, multi-year
accreditation processes we undergo
to maintain our programmes and
operations at the highest level of
international standards.
As we celebrate our own legacy as
a school—55 years of milestones
