The target customer is the young female audience ages 16-30. The premium range will be quite expensive, so a good job would be good if woman want to purchase the premium items. There is a student discount for the younger generation as the clothes are quite trendy and for the stereo typical ‘party girl.’

What prompts your customers to buy your product or service?

A good method of prompting customers to buy my products is good marketing strategies. Online I will use social media accounts such as Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter. Social media’s popularity has increased massively throughout the past couple of years and its particularly popular with the teenage generation. Also online, bloggers will write their positive views on the collaboration, and this may prompt readers to go and see what is being sold and make purchases. A good reputation for any brand is vital. Offline Marketing will be done through, flyers, billboards and magazines which will hopefully catch the eye of pedestrians.

What factors influence your customer’s decision to shop at Lipsy?

The fact that the student discount is available and is quite a large amount, hopefully that will sway deciding customers to shop in Lipsy Stores. Good Visual Merchandising windows will also influence a customer decision, the windows for every store will be creative and eye catching which will draw potential customers in. The store windows will be a sneak peak of the collection inside, this technique is clever as it keeps window shoppers wondering about the rest of the collection and maybe go home and look on the Lipsy London website.

How will you cater to your customer’s needs?

The stores will be aware of what customers want/need, for example, if it the weather forecast is showing rain all the umbrellas will be moved to the front of the store for customers to easy access them and purchase quickly, this saves them from having to mooch around the store and it gets them straight to the point. Instore toilet facilities will be available for customers this is so that the customers get the best shopping experience.
