What is your proposal?

I am creating my own Lipsy London collaboration with Kady Mcdermott. I will be working on producing Marketing and PFBR work and produce it in a Joomag and put my research into Pathbrite folders. My collection will be Spring/Summer 17 and I will be looking at different floral and lace prints and include embroidery pieces in my collection. I have done research on different marketing strategies, whether that be online or offline. I want to present a SWOT and a PESTLE analysis along with other research such as a customer service guide. As well as this i will carry out research on magazine layouts to make my Joomag look as professional as possible.

About the Retailer?

Lipsy London is a British fashion brand which was founded in London where its head office still remains at Tottenham Court Road. Lipsy has an in-house design team and their aim Is to make every woman feel beautiful in their own skin regardless of their size. They want every female who shops in the stores to feel sexy and confident. Clothing sizes range from size 6 to size 18. The fact that the sizing range is so broad truly does highlight the statement that Lipsy wants every woman to feel happy in their own skin. The website is divided into different sections to make certain items of clothes easier to access; for example, the website has a plus size and curve collection and also a petite section.

As well as selling their own clothing, on the website Lipsy has concessions such as Boohoo, Boux Avenue, Office, Public Desire etc. They sell a variety of different clothing including dresses which are separated into different category's on the website. The brand sells dresses for different occasions from going out, party dress to work clothing. As well as clothing Lipsy also sells different shoes and accessories. Lipsy also have a trends section on the website which include different trends such as 90’s fashion, this is a good as it narrows down searches and makes finding clothes easier to find for customers.
