What are the Responsibilities of a USCIS Medical
Doctor?
Approved USCIS doctors are also known as civil
surgeons. The civil surgeon is responsible for completing
the immigration medical exam according to the
regulations of the U.S. Department of Health and Human
Services (HHS) and the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC.)
