breast cancer anyone could ever have. However, I definitely do not want to do it again! The experience made me grow in so many ways though, and as I said, I met the most wonderful people. Not just doctors, but other women who were battling cancer then and hundreds who still are. The majority of breast lumps are found during self-exams – do them! If the doctor wants you to do annual mammograms, make the appointments and keep them! Don’t talk yourself out of calling your doctor if you do find something – chances are that it’ll be nothing, but don’t put off finding out for sure. Early detection is so important. Not calling, and worrying about what might be won’t help either. Call your doctor. If you are diagnosed with breast cancer, know that you are not alone and you do not have to deal with it alone either. There are many support groups!
